§ Mr. EggarAll Entry Clearance Officers, if not already fully experienced, attend a four or five-week training course run jointly by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Home Office prior to taking up their appointment overseas. Training in the particular skills required in interviewing entry clearance applicants is an integral part of the course.
