§ Mr. LangPayments of RSA to firms in Fife in 1986–87 and in the period April to October 1987 totalled £6.2 million and £1.7 million respectively. Information on old RDG is available only in respect of payments of over £25,000 in the Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, Cupar, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, St. Andrews and Leven and Methil local employment office areas. Such payments of RDG totalled £28.2 million in 1986–87 and £3.4 million in the period April to September 1987. Under new RDG, payments of over £25,000 in Fife totalled £0.1 million in 1986–87, and there have been no such payments so far this year.
