§ Mr. FreemanIt is not possible to provide the information in the form requested. However, the extension to the noise insulation grant scheme, which was introduced in March this year, took account of the predicted increase in aircraft activity that would result from the arrival of the Phantom operational conversion unit at RAF Leuchars. To date, some £45,000 has been paid in grants under the extended scheme and a total of 30 payments made. Grant applications have so far been received from more than half of the estimated 620 homes within the area of the new scheme.
