To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make it his policy to establish a reward of money owed to the London residuary body in respect of unsettled Greater London council accounts ; and if he will make a statement.

My Department settles accounts once it is satisfied that payment is due. If the hon. Member is aware of any unsettled accounts in respect of the Greater London council I shall be happy to look further into the matter.
