Mr. Nicholas Bennett

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what estimates he has as to the average weekly take-home pay of dockers employed in each port who are employed in the dock labour scheme.

The attached list, provided by the National Dock Labour Board, shows the average weekly gross payment, by port, of registered dock workers for the second quarter (April-June) of 1987. Figures for take-home pay are not available.
