§ Mrs. CurrieThe extra cost for local authorities of establishing the guardian ad litem service was taken into account in the rate support grant settlement for the year after the scheme was introduced. I am considering a letter from the chairman of Bradford metropolitan council's social services committee, and I shall send the hon. Member a copy of my reply.
