§ Mr. Atkins[holding answer 9 November 1987]: The northern region's percentage share of ERDF grants made to the United Kingdom so far during 1987 is 0.7 per cent. The figure is, however, misleading, in that only about half this year's grants have so far been announced. Further grants for the northern region are expected. Grant decisions rest with the European Commission.
