§ Mr. GallowayTo ask the Attorney-General, pursuant to his statement to the House on Friday 23 October,Official Report, column 1095, what happened between 21 September and 7 October to convince the Director of Public Prosecutions that the case could not result in a conviction.
§ The Attorney-GeneralOn 7 October the director's staff were advised by counsel that there was not a realistic prospect of the conviction of the remaining three defendants. They accepted that advice.
