§ Mr. Warrenasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will consult the British Steel Corporation as to whether problems exist in the production of scaffolding materials as a result of EEC quota restrictions.
§ Mr. AtkinsSteel for the production of scaffolding is not covered by EC quota restrictions. The BSC has reported that demand for scaffolding has been unusually high in recent weeks, partly as a result of repairs to storm damage, but it has been able to meet all orders to it. If my hon. Friend is aware of particular difficulties, I would be very willing to ask the BSC to look into them.
