HC Deb 06 November 1987 vol 121 c939W
Sir John Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland which district councils have erected, or intend to erect, bilingual boundary signs.

Mr. Needham

Fermanagh district council has erected some bilingual boundary signs at various border crossings from the Irish Republic.

Newry and Mourne district council has applied for consent to erect a bilingual boundary sign on the main Newry to Dublin road, again at the border.
