asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many military installations the United States of America has in the United Kingdom, and how many personnel.

There are 66 military bases and facilities in the United Kingdom made available for use by United States forces under United States national command. In addition, there are two North Atlantic Treaty Organisation armament depots under United Kingdom command but providing a service for the United States forces. Approximately 31,500 United States Service personnel are currently stationed in the United Kingdom.
