§ Mr. Bevanasked the Paymaster General what information he has as to the number of new attractions constructed in each the tourist board areas in each year since 1978; and if, in each case, he will give details of the principal such attractions.
§ Mr. LeeNeither my Department nor the English or Regional tourist boards hold information on all new attractions. Information is, however, available on new developments, or expansion-improvements to existing attractions, which received offers of support under the scheme of selective financial assistance operated under section 4 of the Development of Tourism Act 1969. Under this scheme, assistance to attractions has been offered as follows:
