Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) how many lieutenant generals in the British Army are over the age of 50 years;

(2) how many major generals in the British Army are over the age of 50 years;

(3) how many brigadiers in the British Army are over the age of 50 years;

(4) how many lieutenant colonels in the British Army are over the age of 50 years;

(5) how many Army majors are over the age of 50 years;

(6) how many generals in the British Army are over the age of 50 years.
