§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Energy if, pursuant to his answer 11 February, Official Report, columns 213–4, he will place in the Library the report of the representatives of Her Majesty's nuclear installations inspectorate of the Health and Safety Executive who visited the Sandia site; if he will indicate the main finding of the report; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. GoodladA steel containment model was deliberately tested to destruction at roughly four times the pressure it was designed to withstand. The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a report— NUREG/CR-4209. Her Majesty's nuclear installations inspectorate is sending me a copy of it which I shall place in the Library of the House.
