yard open, if necessary on a care-and-maintenance basis, and to concentrate its United Kingdom activities at Clydebank, so that UIE is in a position to continue to compete for work and to benefit when offshore activity recovers. My Department will be offering any assistance it can to UIE in its efforts to secure new orders.
