§ Mr. Wareingasked the Prime Minister what form coordination will take between the Department of Trade and Industry and the Department of the Environment in respect of Government policies for the inner cities.
§ The Prime MinisterCo-ordination, both between departments and between the Government and other local bodies, is important to the success of our policies for the inner cities. Effective machinery to secure this cooperation already exists in the urban programme partnerships, the city action teams and the inner cities initiative.
