The non-voted cash limit in 1987–88 for the urban block (DOE/UAI) is being increased by £31 million. This increase is in addition to the £3.1 million increase to the cash limit under the end-year flexibility increases announced today by my right hon. Friend, the Chief Secretary. The revised cash limit, taking account of both changes, is £437.5 million The balance of £19 million will be surrendered to the reserve.
