asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether there has been any change in the source of supply of uranium for (a) Polaris since 1979 and (b) Trident; and if he will make a statement.

It would not be in the national interest to give these details.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will now make it his practice to answer parliamentary questions relating to the adequacy of the uranium in the United Kingdom nuclear stockpile to fulfil all defence needs over the next decade; and if he will make a statement.

No. It has been the longstanding practice of successive Governments not to disclose information of this nature.
