§ Mr. Michael SpicerIn reply to a question from my hon. Friend the Member for Penrith and the Border (Mr. Maclean) my right hon. Friend the Member for Worcester (Mr. Walker) said on 4 June 1986, at columns 594–595, that consultations on an inspection regime to cover the mixed civil/non-civil areas at Sellafield had been completed. Following the completion of these consultations various meetings have been held between my officials and officials of the European Commission on the detailed implementation of safeguards procedures at Sellafield.
