§ Mr. DunnMy right hon. Friend has no plans to hold discussions with the Council of Local Education Authorities on the topic. The Government are aware of the interest currently being shown in the four-term year, but have noted that the need for change does not command universal support within the education service. Such a change would be a major one, with implications well beyond education.
