§ Mr. Temple-Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the renewal by the United Nations of the UNIFIL mandate in the Lebanon as well as the implementation of United Nations resolution 425.
§ Mr. MellorWe fully support UNIFIL and deplore its continued inability to carry out its full mandate. We should be prepared to consider sympathetically a proposal to renew its mandate, which expires on 31 July.
