§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeOver the ten-year period 1975 to 1985, the industrial sectors which have grown faster than any others in the northern region have been financial and business services, and distribution, hotels and catering. Their contributions to the region's total output during the period grew from 6.2 per cent. and 11.3 per cent. respectively in 1975 to 9.5 per cent. and 12.1 per cent. in 1985.
