§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe Government intend to ensure that the national curriculum is flexible enough to take account of the needs of children in Wales. These needs embrace the teaching of the Welsh language and teaching through the medium of Welsh, and the study of Welsh history and culture. The extent of this provision will need to be determined as part of the exercise of developing the national curriculum.
