§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what would be the estimated cost of providing dual purpose indoor and outdoor powered wheelchairs for all those who would benefit from them;
(2) how many people currently have a Department of Health and Social Security powered indoor wheelchair; what is his estimate of the number who would benefit from a dual purpose chair that could also be used for short distances outside; and how many of these are children.
