§ Mr. FreemanComplete records are not held centrally and they could be assembled only at disproportionate cost. However, a total of 47 complaints from service personnel about pay and conditions were dealt with centrally by the Ministry of Defence in London during 1986. Of these, nine were settled by reference to single service boards under normal complaints procedures.
