§ Mr. RentonElena Gurevich was born in 1964. Her family first applied to emigrate to Israel in 1974. Their application was refused on the grounds that her mother had had access to classified information. The same grounds have been cited for refusal of all subsequent visa applications. We deplore the refusal of the Soviet authorities to grant Elena Gurevich and her family a visa and we shall continue to press them to allow their citizens the basic human right to emigrate.
