§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithIn 1986 the price of energy generally to the home was 18 per cent. higher in real terms than in 1979. However, in recent years the real prices of all domestic fuels have been falling: since 1983 those of gas and electricity have fallen by 8 per cent. and 11 per cent. respectively.
