§ Mr. Spearingasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish a Green Paper setting out the options open to Her Majesty's Government, both within and outside the current regulations determining the common agricultural policy of the European Economic Community, in their strategic policy for agriculture within the United Kingdom, with particular reference to policies that (a) encourage good husbandry, (b) promote levels of employment and economic activity in rural areas and (c) conserve the natural and man-made rural environment, and enhance good management of uplands and the national parks.
§ Mr. GummerI already seek to ensure that the public are fully aware of the options open to the Community and to the United Kingdom as a member of the Community.
