§ Mr. NewtonThe approved list of appliances, dressings and chemical reagents which general medical practitioners may prescribe on the National Health Service is kept under constant review. Changes to the list are made in consultation with representatives of the medical and pharmaceutical professions, in the light of the changing needs of general practice, the extent of demand, availability and cost.
