§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretaryof State for Trade and Industry if he will approach the Canadian Government with a view to setting up investigations in conjuction with the Canadian authorities to look into the manipulation by majority shareholders and their brokers of shares quoted on both the London and Canadian stock exchanges with funds emanating from minority investors in either Canada or the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. HowardMy right hon. Friend is always ready to approach other regulatory authorities if he believes that they may be able to obtain and provide information about matters where the exercise of his own regulatory and investigative powers is involved.
