asked the Secretary of State for Transport how many National Bus Company subsidiaries have been sold to their managers.

Of the 13 National Bus Company subsidiaries which have so far been privatised, 12 have been bought out by their own managements. In most cases employees are being given the opportunity to acquire shares in the businesses.
