§ 46. Mr. Alan Howarthasked the Minister for the Arts what is his assessment of the benefit to the Arts resulting from the tax concessions on charitable giving made in the Finance Act 1986.
§ Mr. LuceI believe that there is great scope for the arts to take advantage of the concessions in the Finace Act 1986 relating to payroll giving by employees and one-off donations by companies for charitable purposes. It is too early yet to estimate the actual benefits.
