£'000 1981 91 1982 49 1983 64 1984 9 1985 116 This aid was used for two purposes: disaster relief, channelled through the Nicaraguan Red Cross, Oxfam and the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development; and the training of a few Nicaraguans in Britain. In addition, we helped British voluntary agencies to fund some projects in Nicaragua.
