§ Mr. Mark RobinsonEstimates based upon information from the 1984 and 1985 labour force surveys in which some 3,000 households in Wales were sampled each year, are as follows. The samples are too small to provide reliable estimates of numbers of lone fathers in Wales or of lone parents in Clwyd.

§ Mr. Mark RobinsonThe information requested is not available. However, the 1981 census of population recorded 1,528 unemployed heads of lone adult households with children in Wales, of whom 195 lived in Clwyd.
