§ Mr. Tom King[pursuant to his reply, 28 January 1987, c. 301]: The training and instructions to all member of the RUC on the use of firearms are in accordance with the "Manual of Guidance on Police use of Firearms" issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers joint standing committee on the police use of firearms. Officers allocated to duties with HMSU receive additional training commensurate with the duties they perform.
