§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report table 3.14.6 of the Government's expenditure plans 1987–88 to 1989–90 giving (a) the number of patients treated in each specialty and category, (b) the rate per 1,000 population of both cases/attendances and patients treated in each speciality and category, (c) the average percentage change per annum for (a) and (b), and (d) the cumulative percentage change for each speciality and category.

§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the per capita spending on health and personal social services in cash terms and at 1986–87 prices each year since 1979 to the latest available date for (a) all ages, (b) births, (c) 0 to 4 years, (d) 5 to 15 years, (e) 16 to 65 years, (f) 65 to 70 years and (g) 75 years and over giving the amount spent on (i) personal social services, (ii) family practitioner services. (iii) hospital and community health services and (iv) total in England.

§ Sir David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was the total public expenditure on health and personal social services in 1978–79; what it is in the current year and what is the projection for 1988–89, measured in real terms; and, in each case, what percentage of total public expenditure and of gross domestic product these figures represent.
