Mr. Foulkes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has to extend the first protocol of the Convention on Human Rights to the dependent territories.

Those territories which have not yet adopted the first protocol have been invited to do so at the earliest opportunity.
