asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will increase technical assistance to Nigeria so as to provide more support for integrated health and family planning programmes.

We plan to increase our technical cooperation programme in Nigeria. Much of the programme will be devoted to training and we shall respond positively to requests for training in integrated health and family December. For an account of the programme, I refer the hon.
