§ The Prime MinisterThe British national space centre will consider funding any proposals for collaborative space science projects with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics within its existing budget. The British national space centre has supported three scientists to work with the USSR on a mission to Mars and its moon Phobos, and is currently discussing other possible collaborations in a number of fields, including X-ray astronomy, solar terrestrial physics and planetary science.
