To ask the Minister for the Arts when he last visited the Aldeburgh Foundation; and what was the outcome of the visit.

Mr. Luce

I visited the Aldeburgh Foundation on 4 November and was very encouraged by what I saw. The foundation has increased its audiences by over 30 per cent. over the last year, and has turned a substantial loss into a profit, in the course of four years.
