§ Mr. Peter BottomleyWe are currently planning to carry out the following major works on part of the M6 in 1988.
Site Work Provisional start date and duration J6–7 Resurfacing May, for approx 2 months. J9–10 Resurfacing April, for approx 1 month. J13–14 Overlay August, for approx 2 months. J16–17 Reconstruction/Overlay February, for approx 5 months. J29–31 Reconstruction/Overlay Advance works currently underway. Main works to commence February for approx 5 months. There will also he various bridge works taking place which may affect the main carriageway. It is hoped to carry out at least some of the works on lane rental contracts with the aim of minimising delays to the road user.
