§ Mr. ScottProtection in cash terms is the normal way to give protection when benefit rules are changed. However, the special transitional addition which will be payable to disabled people in receipt of high amounts of the domestic assistance addition will be index-linked. We will also be monitoring the position of those people in receipt of other transitional additions.
