To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will provide details of the capital allocation agreed by the West Midlands regional health authority between April 1986 and May 1987 for each of the district health authorities, together with when each of these proposals are due to come on stream, and the current postponement for each such schemes.

[holding answer 3 December 1987]: The West Midlands regional health authority is responsible for the allocation of capital resources to district health authorities and the management of building schemes contained in its operational capital programme. The hon. Member may therefore wish to write to the chairman of the West Midlands regional health authority for the information she requires.
