To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what information is available on the percentage of disabled workers employed in(a) the public and (b) the private sectors.

§ Mr. Nicholls
The only information available is about the extent to which employers covered by the quota scheme meet their obligations under that scheme. On 1 June 1986, 8 per cent. of public sector employees, and 1 per cent. of private sector employees, were registered disabled.
