Mr. Home Robertson

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the bids which have been made to his Department by local authorities for housing capital allocations for 1988–89, showing the figures for bids and final allocations of borrowing consent for 1987–88; and if he will make a statement.

Bids for housing capital allocations for 1988–89, which were due to be submitted by 9 November, have not yet been received by the Scottish Development Department from all housing authorities. Bids for 1987–88 and the related final gross capital allocations, issued in March 1987, are given in the table.
