§ Mr. MoynihanSports clubs and governing bodies of sport can receive funding for facilities, equipment, training and coaching programmes, proficiency award schemes, administrative expenses and so on from a number of sources such as the Sports Council, local authorities, charitable trusts, and the private sector. Details of that funding are not kept in a form which enables the proportion of it specifically devoted to the training and teaching of children to be identified.
