asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when is the next meeting of European Economic Commission Finance Ministers.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the items he proposes to discuss at his next meeting with his counterparts in the European Economic Community Finance Council.

Mr. Brooke

The next meeting of the EC Council of Economic and Finance Ministers is on II May. It is expected that the agenda will include the Commission's recent proposals on the future financing of the Community the reference framework for the 1988 Community budget; the directive on prospectuses to be published when securities are offered to the public; and an amendment to the directive on mutual recognition of listing particulars for admission of securities to official stock exchange listing.
