§ Mr. McQuarrieasked the Secretary of State for Transport what studies he has undertaken into future developments in navigational aids.
§ Mr. MooreIn April last year my right hon. Friend invited Dr. D. G. Kiely, a consultant electronics engineer, to undertake a study into developments in marine navigational aids in relation to users' long-term requirements. I have now received Dr. Kiely's report and I am arranging for its publication. Copies have been placed in the Library of the House. I am grateful to Dr. Kiely for undertaking this task and I am sure his conclusions and recommendations will command wide attention. I will be considering them most carefully and I would welcome views on them from all the interested parties.
