BRITISH CITIZENSHIP FEES 1987–88

Whether they intend to make any changes in the fees payable upon the acquisition or renunciation of British citizenship.

We are pleased to say that citizenship fees for 1987–88 will be held at their present levels. This is a tribute to the staff who by bringing about improvements in the cost effectiveness of the service, have enabled us to plan on the basis that over the next financial year fees should continue to cover the cost of issuing certificates. We have placed in the Library a copy of the Nationality Fees Budget Income and Expenditure Account for the year ending 31st March 1988.
