§ Mr. Chris PattenThe planned aid budget for 1987–88, contained in the 1986 public expenditure White Paper (Cmnd. 9702), is £1,230 million, an increase of £43 million or 3.6 per cent. over the aid budget for 1986–87. The outcome of this year's public expenditure survey will be published in the Government's 1987 public expenditure White Paper.
